Lace Up Those Sneakers for a Good Cause!
With spring just 2 months away, the organizers of Sean’s Run are reminding everyone at In Flight to again make plans to participate in the 18th edition of their fun and festive community event which takes place on the weekend of April 27 & 28, in Chatham.
Runners, joggers and walkers of all abilities are invited. In the past, In Flight has been represented on the starting line of the 5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles), the 1 Mile Run/Walk, and in Jaime’s Race for People with Special Needs.
The 5K and Mile events take place on Sunday, April 28th, and the first 1,200 to register will receive an event t-shirt. All are provided a great spread of nutritional refreshments upon completion of their run or walk.
Jaime’s Race for People with Special Needs, on Saturday, April 27th, is a run/walk event designed by Sean’s Run especially for people who are unable to traverse the length of the longer 5K or 1-mile course. This short-but-fun “race” is a crowd-pleaser and participants are provided the same amenities as the 5K and 1-mile participants.
